Abstract Submission

Abstracts may be submitted until June 1st, 2022 (talk or poster) or July 1st, 2022 (poster only). Please carefully read the guidelines below before submitting your abstract.

Guidelines For Abstract Preparation

Please submit your abstract by email to: katharina.haberler@univie.ac.at with the subject line: EWM2022 Abstract Submission.

Submissions should consist of a single Word document or plain text file containing the following information:

  1. Title (no more than 200 characters)
  2. Authors (Presenting author, Co-authors, PI) and Affiliation (1, 2, ..)
  3. Abstract (no more than 3000 characters, incl spaces)
  4. Would you like to be considered for an oral presentation/lightning talk? If yes, please indicate which subject area best describes your research: A) Development; B) Cell Biology; C) Germline and Cell fate; D) Metabolism, Aging, Pathogenesis, Stress; E) Epigenetic inheritance and Evolution; F) Integrative biology

Example:

  1. The genetics of Caenorhabditis elegans.
  2. Sydney Brenner1. 1. Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 2QH, England.
  3. Methods are described for the isolation, complementation and mapping of mutants of Caenorhabditis elegans, a small free-living nematode worm. About 300 EMS-induced mutants affecting behavior and morphology have been characterized and about one hundred genes have been defined. Mutations in 77 of these alter the movement of the animal. Estimates of the induced mutation frequency of both the visible mutants and X chromosome lethals suggests that, just as in Drosophila, the genetic units in C. elegans are large.
  4. Yes - F) Integrative biology

Abstracts will appear exactly as they are submitted, so please check for correct spelling, etc.

Review Procedures
